Gaga about child labour
The Idea to ban child labour is good,but before implementing that we have to see what are the root causes for this problem and must start from that.Merrily implementing the law will not help in removing this epidemic .
They are two causes for this problem1)poverty 2)Family planning
The Government must bring awareness among the people about the importance of the family planning and must provide sops to people who have only one child.The importance of this is that in a family, who have only one child doesn't dare to send their child to work.A person who have one wife and one child can manage to feed them and can able to provide good education to their child and off course government sops will give an added advantage to them. The solution will work but it will takes time to give fruitful results to remove child labour for the coming generations.
For the present generation,The Government must improve the standards of Government schools and must provide free books,clothes,lunch in the afternoon and complete exemption in tuition fee if they are charging any so that the child must not become burden to the family.To compensate the loss of child income to the family Government should take necessary steps in giving considerable price reduction in basic commodities which they will purchase in ration shops and other medical benefits in Hospitals.The concerned authorities of respective departments mentioned above, must ask for necessary proof certificate from the people every month whether their child is attending school or not.The certificate must be signed by principal of that school and this process must be evaluated every month.This can be restricted to people studying government schools, if government feels burden to implement for all .
Last but the not the least ,it is not only the responsibility of the Government but onus lies on us to remove this epidemic .Organizations must come forward to extend their help and people who are wealthy must take care at least one child in providing education to them . Off course the media has it's role in bringing awareness and must educate people about Government initiatives and advantages of education to the children because media is the strongest weapon that can bring revolutionary changes in the present system.
